Melanie Palmer Legal
Melanie Meneses Palmer is an attorney at Kiesel Law LLP and assists clients in handling class actions/mass offenses: plaintiffs` law. She also assists clients in matters of bodily injury – General: Plaintiffs and bodily injury – Products: Questions from applicants. Ms. Palmer began her legal career as an associate attorney for the City of Los Angeles. There, she honed her courtroom and courtroom skills in the prosecution of criminal offences. She also devoted her time to the Juvenile Prosecutor`s Office. In law school, she represented minors in highly contested drug abuse proceedings and traveled to Phnom Penh, Cambodia, to develop programs that provide free legal representation to unjustly detained minors. Previously, she dedicated a year of service to the AmeriCorps Volunteers in Service to America (VISTA) program, a national public service aimed at reducing poverty. In this role, she was recognized by the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors for her contributions to the Los Angeles public housing community. These strategies include investment management, private banking, trust and estate services, and wealth planning. Mélanie takes the time to understand her clients` unique needs and leads teams of specialists who often work closely with other relationship managers such as lawyers and accountants to provide services that help clients achieve their goals. Melanie began her career in the banking and financial services industry in 2007. Prior to joining U.S. Bank Private Wealth Management, Melanie was Vice President and Wealth Management Advisor at Citywide Banks. His professional experience includes a combination of wealth planning and investment management, with a focus on working with executives. Mélanie is an active volunteer with several non-profit organizations. She is currently a member of the Board of Directors and the Finance and CID Committee on Environmental Learning for Children and a board member of the Women`s Estate Planning Council. She is also a member of the Rocky Mountain Estate Planning Council and a volunteer with Economic Literacy Colorado and Junior Achievement. Melanie lives in Lakewood with her husband, young daughter and two dogs. When not at work, she enjoys snowboarding, hiking and traveling with her family. Ms.
Palmer holds a bachelor`s degree in psychology from the University of San Francisco and a juris doctorate from the University of San Francisco School of Law. Ms. Palmer has extensive experience in complex litigation and has represented thousands of plaintiffs in Consolidated Multidistrict (MDL) litigation and California Judicial Council (JCCP) coordination proceedings against major defendants, including Johnson & Johnson, Wright Medical Technology, JUUL Labs, Boston Scientific and Ford Motor Company. She currently holds a leadership position in Johnson & Johnson`s talcum powder business in California and acts as liaison counsel to the plaintiffs` courts.
